I feel this is the most comfortable form of marketing; this is because there are not as disturbing as those stupid cell phone calls that always keep on ringing at wrong times. This is even far better than those salesman that come knocking our doors every afternoon, especially when our parents are asleep. The reason for its widespread popularity is because this marketing uses your email id for sending in those advertisement or information.
So you would be receiving all the advertisements on the email as soon as you open your mail box, so if at all you feel like having a look then you could read them and if you don’t then you could just get rid of them by selecting them and clicking the delete button. But it’s not only the convenience part of it that makes it very popular but also its because it’s the most affordable way to market and advertise your product or your services since there is no need to hire the services of a marketing agent or a sales man.
Another reason that can be cited for its increasing fame and popularity is because if the marketing email is quite attractive then it’s bound to bring in some positive results.
However, there are some other forms of email marketing too, such as the direct mail that are sent to the email ids of the customers. Then the newsletter that is also sent to the email account of the customer, this would be exactly in the form of the brochure or a newsletter but sent through the email account and not personally, this is the second kind of email marketing.
